I just wanted to update this blog on some of the projects that are cur­rently rolling through the Foundry.

• The lat­est episode of the Fledg­ling Pod­cast is up — Chap­ter 19 — today. 
• The Bear’s Grove has had a few episodes added just recently. 
• Drag­onkin will have a new ep post­ing very soon. 
• Heart of the Hunter has been “spun off” to become its own blog / pod­cast entity.

I’m here at Pod­camp Atlanta and really enjoy­ing the day.

Sharon Lee and Steve Miller, authors of the pop­u­lar, fan favorite sci­ence fic­tion tales of Kor­val in the Liaden Uni­verse, have gra­ciously allowed us to do a pod­cast of their seri­al­ized novel, “Fledg­ling.” The novel is being released in a “Storyteller’s Bowl” model from SRM Pub­lish­ing on their web­site, korval.com/fledgling.

Lee and Miller’s unique brand of adven­tur­ous roman­tic space opera has won atten­tion from both sci­ence fic­tion and romance read­ers. Liaden Uni­verse^® nov­els Scout’s Progress and Local Cus­tom took first and sec­ond place in the cov­eted Prism Awards for best futur­is­tic romance of 2002, while Pilots Choice, I Dare, The Tomor­row Log, and Bal­ance of Trade have all placed on the Locus Mag­a­zine Best­seller lists, with Bal­ance of Trade also win­ning the Hal Clement Award for Best Young Adult Sci­ence Fic­tion novel of 2004.
